SO SORRY

I've been MIA since I was out of town for a few weeks and my internet has been SO screwy lately. So this past Monday I cancelled our internet service with the satellite company and today Qwest got us hooked up. It's amazing how much I use the internet. I've been lost without it.
I also received a new laptop for my birthday from my darling husband. So within the next few days I'll be posting my latest creations.
This weekend I have a "Spring Boutique" that I'll be selling my spring line at. I'm so excited to welcome in spring with more lacy looking hats, headbands and fun colors!

You read that title and started singing that song, didn't you?  Well, this post is all about boys. The Hunter (a bomber-style hat), the Parker (a brimmed beanie with strap) and The Brody (a standard beanie) are for those cute little guys runnin' around out there.

Some of my Girlies!

These two hats are in honor of some of my closest girlies. Introducing "The Sara" (in teal and brown) and "The Raquel" (in pink and aqua).

The Sara has double raised strands that add an air of being knit to it. It can be made sporting any style edge! Make it fun, funky or flirty!

"The Raquel" is more of a lacy look made with a series of shell stitches. This one has a large, chunky flower (because I needed it to match the little one's outfit) but it will look really nice with a delicate one as well.

The next in line for The Animal Series - "The Li'l Stinker" is so STINKIN' cute! (Pun totally intended.)

This skunk hat would be so great paired with an applique onesie that says "Little Stinker" or even as the hat for a Halloween costume! I can't really see an adult wearing this (unless it IS for a skunk costume) - but maybe someone would want it that big. BTW - the stripe goes all the way to the bottom of the hat in the back. Guess I should've done a back view, sorry.

Bring on the Swiss Alps!

Let's just say, "Fun and Funky!"  This beauty was worked up with the cold weather in mind!  I love the colors, the details and EVERYTHING about it.  The pompoms on the end are so cute and adds a little pizzazz, don't you think?  And as I was sitting here editing the photos, I thought, "Ooooh, next one I lose the chain and put the pompoms by the ears!  FUN!"  We'll see how that turns out.

"The Owl" hat is a new favorite around here. He's the first in line of the "animal" series.

Made with little flaps to cover the ears (add some braids at the bottom for girls or just a chain for boys to tie it into place), this little guy can be made with TONS of personality in mind. Go with bright vibrant colors if you're kinda spunky or add a small flower at the top for a touch of girliness. You can completely omit the flaps and leave it plain if you'd like.

Flap, flap, flap away!!!

Doesn't this one just scream "Flapper!"  I love it!  Appropriately named for my favorite 6 year-old girl!

This one looks lovely with a grosgrain ribbon (shown) or a beautiful satin ribbon looks just as nice.

The top pic is "The Addie".  It looks pretty snug on my stand because I made it iiiiitty-biiiitty for a newborn.  It can be made any size, though.  The bottom two are called "The Allyson" - perfect for hot summer days!

My favorite little Two Year Old looks A-Ma-Zing in this little hat,  Here's "The Phoebe"!  It takes a little more time and yarn so the prices for baby/toddlers are $15 and child/adult are $20.  Don't you just love the orange/aqua combo?  I Lo-Ho-Hove it!!!  I feel so pretty when I wear it with my silky scarf!  Enjoy!
